Principals/Deans of the following schools have signed permission slips allowing Young Marines within their schools to wear their uniforms on holidays and special occassions designated by the Douglas County Young Marines.
Any Young Marine wearing his/her uniform to school without authorization from unit or school officials will be subject to disciplinary action. In order to have a school added to the list of authorized schools, a Uniform to School Permission Slip must be printed off the Forms page, signed by the principal and returned to the adjutant.
Even though our Young Marines are proud of their uniform and want to wear them at every opportunity, we understand that some schools may not approve. That is why we have the Uniform to School Permission Slip. When a Young Marine gets this form signed by the principal we know that he/she has been approved to wear the Young Marines uniform to school.
Young Marines are not authorized to wear their uniform to school without prior approval by the school and the unit commanding officer.
