This page is dedicated to our alumni, Young Marines that have graduated from high school and been honorably discharged from the Douglas County Young Marines.

We are proud of our Young Marine graduates and we know that they will be successful wherever life takes them.

YM/GySgt Marie Morrow

Marie MorrowYM/GySgt Marie Morrow graduated in 2009 and is currently attending the New Mexico Military Institute, awaiting her acceptance into the Merchant Marine Academy.

Marie recently received the Mattson Award at NMMI for being the best new cadet and will soon be promoted to Corporal. She also made the Dean's List last semester and serves on the Centennial Flame Guard, NMMI's version of Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.


YM/Sgt Danielle Proctor

Danielle ProctorYM/SGT Danielle Proctor was the first Young Marine to graduate and be honorably discharged with our unit in 2008.

She got married in January 2010 and is currently working for Circle K, training for assistant manager.

Young Marine Facts

There are over 300 Young Marine units nationwide with approximately 10,000 Young Marines and 4,000 registered adult staff members.

 Division 4, our division, is the largest of all six divisions and consists of approximately 85 units in 6 states.
